Chair Yoga for Beginners

Join in on a new online summer series of classes for those new to yoga.  This is a pay what you can/donation class and is free to frontline workers, law enforcement, and security personnel!   

So grab a friend and tune in for a well-deserved Friday lunch break and re-charge your battery after a hard week's work.  All donations will go towards supporting the yoga program at Hope Rises, a re-entry program for incarcerated women.  Learn more about this great program here and pass this along to anyone you think might benefit from starting a practice designed to de-stress and reduce anxiety. 

Can’t join in on Friday at noon?  Register for the class below and you will receive a link to view the class at your leisure for one week. 

Prolonged periods of stress can cause hypertension, muscle tightness, anxiety, depression, and other mental and physical problems. This class will explore poses prescribed for these common ailments. This is a great place for beginners and if you’re feeling overwhelmed, sluggish, or tense.

This is a class where the pace will be slow and the poses will be restorative in nature. Mindfulness meditation is introduced.
