Three generations of women

Yoga for Women

Saturday's - quarterly, In-person and virtual.

A woman’s life is characterized by cycles and stages of life.  This quarterly class is a gathering of women commonly on the path of yoga in the spirit of research and sharing wisdom, led by Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher (CIYT) Level II, Joy Wasson.  We practice together in a way that honors and celebrates life and an ever-changing and maturing body, mind, and spirit.

These 2 hour classes are $25 in-person, $20 virtual, and are structured like mini workshops where we will study, practice, and discuss. The practice of asana will be 1 hour 15 minutes. An introduction to the anatomy of focus and/or class theme will be given at the beginning and time afterwards for observations, discussion, questions.  In this series we will learn ways to work with, rather than against, the natural rhythms of the body.  For this reason, poses are offered for both higher and lower energy levels.

The next in-studio host is Blue Yoga Nyla, thank you Blue for hosting the second class in this series March 19, 2022 @ 12 pm.  If you would like to attend this class in-person, please register through Mindbody.

Virtual students can reserve their spot through this link.  Following registration, you will be emailed a link for the class and options for payment.

Virtual students will need the following props at home to attend: 3-4 blankets, 2 blocks, 2 straps, a chair, and access to a wall and/or long dining table.  Prop kits are available for purchase for $75 @ here. (Local delivery only)
